I've currently got two one of a kind cloth dolls that I made for sale in my etsy shop.  These have tons of nice details, and hand painted faces.  I am also still working on some custom Monster High dolls that will hopefully be finished soon!

I'm back!

Hi!

Well after a bit of a hiatus I am back in business again!  I've got three Monster High dolls that I am working on at the moment, two that will be for sale and one that is for me :)  While I was away I did a MH doll customization as a thank you gift for one of my aunts.  I'll post her pictures here!

What I've been working on.

Just finished up the two Twilight Bella Barbies that I've been working on for a commission. I'm off to the US for a month and then things should pick up again!

Still working on Bella Barbie commissions.  Here is a quick photo of my take on Bella's blue dress from Breaking Dawn.

Update

Just to let anyone know who is wondering:  I've had to put the Monster High repaints on hold for just a little while because I've got a commission to customize three Twilight Bella dolls and I've got to get those finished first!  I'm just itching to get going on the Monster High dolls again, so hopefully really soon!

Hiya :)  I have had this doll finished for a while but hadn't taken any photos because she was nekkid!!  I stole the dress off of a Sweet 1600 Frankie because I thought it was cute on her and decided to take some decent photos yesterday.  I have named her Lys.  It's French for lily :)

Hi!  I've started to receive the supplies that I ordered so I can really get working again!  Here is a WIP shot of one of the dolls that I am currently working on. :)

Shopping

Ooooooh...I went on such a shopping spree yesterday and today!!!  I bought everything from tiny Georgian style buckles to 2mm sequins to ribbons and laces and doll parts and hair....there are so many ideas bouncing around inside my head!  Stick around for more fun stuff to come! :)

New doll available!

Hiya :D

I just finished a new doll.  She is now available in my Etsy shop:  https://www.etsy.com/listing/103423154/dragon-ooak-monster-high-doll-repaint   (This doll is now SOLD.)

She was a lot more work than the last one.  But she was a lot of fun :)  Her wings are made from multiple layers of cloth with a wire skeleton and can be posed.  Her eyes are 3-dimensional dolls eyes that have been affixed inside her head.  The scale pattern on her train was all painted by hand.  She has killer needle point stiletto gladiator sandals :p  And so much more, LOL!

Some better photos!

Hiya :D  Here are some better photos of the acrylic eye method that I have been trying.  This method requires me to cut out and carefully shape the eye holes, glue the eyes in from inside the head, and add eyelashes as compared to just painting everything on.  I kinda like it :)  Please click to see the image larger!

New Monster High OOAK Customization

Finished another doll!  This one is for me to keep for myself ;)  You can see here how I've starting taking a different route from the first doll that I completed.  I am now cutting out eye holes and using acrylic eyes set inside the head for more depth.  I like the effect :)  I need to get some better photos of this girl but here is a before and after shot of her face.  I hope you like her! <3

Eeee!  She's got no hair!  She will at some point though!  This is another doll that I'm working on. Sorry about the bad photo, I'll take better ones when she's done:). I need to figure out what I'm doing with hair, make a custom stand, and add some embellishments and then she'll be finished!

Well my doll didn't sell the first go.  I guess I try again!  I've knocked the price down bit a good bit and have re-listed her again.

OOAK Monster High doll repaint - Elf girl with pink hair

Here are some detailed photos of the OOAK (one of a kind) Monster High doll repaint that I just finished.  I stripped the factory paint, smoothed and sanded the seams from her limbs, repainted her face and added details to her body, re-rooted her hair, and made her costume from scratch.  She was SO MUCH fun to work on!  I'm definitely going to do more.
